The regime received vital information about advanced nuclear technology, and thanks to France’s intercession at the UN, Spain became a tolerated regime in the western world. It looked as a good deal. Just looked.

France wasn’t getting rid of 40 tons of nuclear wastes. France was getting rid, forever and in a place far from their borders, of 686 toxic corpses. With this plot they sealed their demons under tons of concrete and at very far from home.
